INFJ Supporting 4 Day Week SA – Part 1 of 2

I am an empath. I believe a four-day work week will get homo sapiens closer to achieving that fabled work-life balance. Starting March 2023, we pioneer a programme that most South Africans believed to be an unattainable dream.

Google the definition of empathy and you’ll find something along the lines of: “the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.” Among the 16 MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) personality types, the INFJ is the rarest of all and is the type most attuned to the feelings of others.

Having started my journey as an entrepreneur more than a decade ago, I have always questioned traditional working hours. Upon discovering my INFJ status in April 2022, my questions finally started to yield some answers.

Why does the human race devote more time to work than to play (or something resembling time for oneself)? Starting a new role in the last half of 2022, I happened upon an article about a movement that sought to reduce the traditional work week by one day.
